Andrew (Drew) Jordan has been a TWU Local #208 member for over 20 years as a bus operator for the Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA). His passion for actively working with his Local #208 Union began just one year after his employment at COTA, and he began serving as a Shop Steward. He ran for the office of Vice President after only 5 years of employment with COTA. Andrew went on to achieve the office of the Local #208 President in the year 2010. He has brought many skills to this office, such as the ability to successfully negotiate employment grievances and handle matters of discipline. He has proven to be a reputable force for Labor Rights through his activism and his constant battles to defend the safety and contractual rights of his coworkers.
Andrew's vast expertise has successfully placed him into a second term as the proud President of the Local Union #208. He has risen through the ranks of the Local #208, having previously held positions with the Area Labor Federation Executive Board and Central Ohio Labor Council, on which he was a voting delegate. He was also honored by becoming the first person to be elected Chair of the Ohio/Michigan State Conference.
Outside of his career duties, Andrew is the proud father of three children and an active member of the New Birth Christian Ministry.
